My Splendour Highlights

Thought I’d do a quick post about my Splendour experience thanks to Dedee W for taking me! Sorry for the cheesiness of this post in advance.

A blind aboriginal singer who’s unique voice hits you right in the heart.

Laura Marling
The modern day queen of folk. Others say she reminds them of Joni Mitchell, I just loved her songs.

James Blake
I was blown away by him, he has a hauntingly beautiful voice and is a master pianist.

Amazing to see them rocking out on stage, these women are just too sexy.

These babes know how to party! I loved to see their energy and excitement of being at Splendour.

After seeing her at Galatos gig in Auckland it was awesome to see Lorde in front of so many people singing along. She drew a huge crowd looked overwhelmed by the response but handled it like a pro. See our article and photo shoot here.

Sarah Blasko
Dancing around like a quirky goddess this lady is so talented and adorable.

Honorable mentions: TV On The Radio, Jake Bugg, The National, Babyshambles, Passion Pit, Darwin Deez, Bernard Fanning, Wavves and Jagwar Ma.
